Regarding your question—I wouldn't recommend buying a replica. It won’t perform like the real thing, yet you're still spending your hard-earned money. Worse, replicas hurt the very watch brands that make this hobby possible.
I saw the site you mentioned is charging up to $1,299 for a fake watch. At that price, there are far better options from reputable makers. One example is the Seiko SRPL81 JAWS 50th Anniversary Limited Edition, which has a list price of $795 and is set to launch in July. It’s a fun watch and could even be collectible, as only 5,000 will be made.
